The first week was a blast filled with laughter, scholar engagement, and positive vibes.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with you and educate our scholars. As we approach this 4-day school week (no school this Friday, 8.29.25), here are a few reminders and highlights:

1. 1IDs: Scholars need to bring their HCPS issued ID each day. The IDs are used for breakfast, lunch, bus transportation, and library services.

2. Assessments: Beginning of the year reading and math diagnostics will begin shortly. These assessments will help us identify areas of scholars’ growth and opportunity.

3. TRIPLE A: Attitude, Attendance, & Achievement. Inside every GLES scholar is a TRIPLE A Winner. We will have weekly celebrations to acknowledge our scholars who exhibit these attributes.
