Kindergarten students had a blast at the Fairfield Public Library last week! We listened to stories, sang together, and finished by exploring different toys. We even learned a few words in sign language! The rest of our kindergarten students will be visiting soon. We can't wait!

Our 4th grade Lego League Challenge team began meeting last week. This team has many missions ahead of it -- building Lego creations, programming robotics, and innovating solutions to modern problems. But they are ready to rock it! We can't wait to see what they create!

Last week, students shopped the ROAR cart for the first time this year! Students earn points for meeting ROAR expectations, which they can then spend on treats, toys, and experiences at our ROAR cart. Students will shop again in a few weeks, so encourage them to ROAR every day!

It's a week of celebration! Our 5th graders competed in the annual kickball tournament, a culmination of sportsmanship work with Mr. Frederes. Students learn cooperation, communication, trust in their team, and more. Mr. Neal's class won, but it was a nail biter for a bit!
